"Being popular on social media is like being rich in Monopoly: it might look impressive, but at the end of the day, what really matters is who you are when the game is over."
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with this statement and its message. Being famous on the internet shouldn't influence your personality and the way you treat others outside of social media. If you are famous, that doesn't mean you are also superior to the people around you, hence you need to treat them with respect. The likes and followers you get on social media may give you a false impression of appreciation but at the end of the day you realize that you don't have true friends or meaningful relationships because you focus too much on the online world.
This analogy suggests that social media fame is like Monopoly money: it looks impressive but has no real value.People may be famous but that doesn't mean they are good people. What truly matters is who you are in real life, not your online popularity.
