Summary
ReplyDeleteThe video entitled “The Pencil’s Tale” presents us a story of an old pencil maker and his newest pencil. Once upon a time, a pencil maker took his pencil aside like he was a person and told it five advices before he would pack it into a box. The pencil maker assured the pencil that this five advices will contribute into its evolution of becoming the best pencil out there in the world if it would not forget them.
He started by saying the first advice which was that the pencil should always remember that it is able to do a lot of great things, but only if it puts itself in someone else’s hands. Then, he continued by saying that from time to time the pencil will suffer some painful sharpening, but this shouldn’t discourage it, in fact this sharpening has the role to make it a better pencil. Another thing that the pencil maker told his pencil was that every mistake it makes, it by itself is able to correct them all along the way. After that, he told the pencil that the most important part of it is on its inside. The last thing he told the pencil was that upon every surface it is used, it must have its mark no matter what else happens. The pencil should always continue to write no matter what circumstances surround it. The pencil understood its maker’s advices and promised that it would always remember these things so that it could live its life with heart and with purpose.
The end reveals us that those five advices are, in fact, the advices we should know and follow in our life to become the best person that lives out there in the world.

In the beginning of the video, things that appear and stand up the idea of someone in the house being keen on science are magnets on the fridge that represent tools from a science laboratory, a diploma from a science university, different laboratory tools around the kitchen and a periodic table of the elements on a board.
2. It is the boy’s dad’s birthday.
3. After the solution spilled on the boy, his hands turned red and hot and they could burn anything they’d touch.
4. The eggs boiled in the boy’s hot hands.
5. To manipulate the sugar, the boy puts on some gloves and grabs the sugar to add it to the recipe.
6. He adds the flour to the recipe by touching its packaging with his hot finger, so that it could pour by itself in the bowl.
7. In my opinion, the end has a hidden meaning which is that we should spend more time with our loved ones and appreciate the little things they do for us, so we should see the full part of the glass in our life.

It will be able to correct any mistake made, and the most important tip is that it must leave mark on every surface used. The pencil made it clear and promised to remember these things.
