Ex..Most people make resolutions for the new year.
- We use the PRESENT SIMPLE to talk about facts and give opinions.
- We use the PRESENT CONTINUOUS to talk about what’s happening at or around the time of speaking.
- We use the PRESENT PERFECT SIMPLE to talk about past actions without saying when they happened.
- We use the PRESENT PERFECT CONTINUOUS to talk about actions that started in the past and are still happening.
We can use the present continuous with " always " to complain about behaviour that we don’t like and find annoying.
Ex. The cleaning lady is always closing the windows.
